What’s that age-old saying? “If all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?”

The answer was always a no—sometimes an eye roll, or simply met with silence. But wouldn’t you know, we all grew up, and people are jumping off cliffs. Metaphorically, I mean. I know this page can reveal some dark truths, but let's not get too deep, too quick.

We are living in the age of: “I know how to do life, I have the answers, you just have to click on my link and follow me!”

Ok Sharon, no worries. I’ll just tell my higher self and eternal guides that you know what you're doing, and I can just access you through a link. Saves me doing rain dances and looking for smoke signals.

All the funnies aside, this is basically what’s happening. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…

If you put anyone between you and your higher self or Source, you are giving your power away and are possibly going to be led astray.

Now, I’m not stating that Sally or Harry down the road doesn’t have answers, or that Sharon the coach doesn’t have a way. I’m not saying they are spitting absolute bullshit—except for the part that it’s the way for you.

See, we all started in the same place (mostly) and are all on the same journey, yes. The same human experience, yes. Looking for the same answers (kinda) and ending up in the same place (pretty much). But we start as 8 billion different energetic makeups. 8 billion different journeys (mostly). 8 billion different experiences (used to be). Going for 8 billion different missions (should be). See, we are same-same but different—and we need to be. You try solving an 8 billion-piece puzzle when someone decided we all needed to cut our shapes to be the same. Unless everyone decides to be a square, it ain’t going to happen. And that sounds like one boring puzzle if you ask me. This is our existence: an evolutionary journey where one piece leads to the next.

So, enter the “New Age,” where somehow everyone’s purpose is to help you find or create your purpose. But you must trust them, because they found out their purpose is to help you with your purpose. Trust them, they got this download on purpose—through a purposeful Ayahuasca trip.

I just can’t talk about this seriously, but I’m going to try to break it down for you.

So-and-so has hit a big revelation. They have been given a map. It has tools and back roads, tips to make the trip, big leaps along the way, and abundance that will pay. Sounds great, right? “THE FORMULA.” The algorithm. The download from the divine! Hmmm... what so-and-so doesn’t realize is that most of these are blueprints that can be altered depending on the execution of each leg of the journey. And there is a more important detail they missed: “Yes Sharon, that was just your map!”

Like I said: “8 billion different journeys, 8 billion different ways.”

So yes, all your coaches, all your gurus, and all your teachers may have a map—even a semi-proven map, because hey, how do you know until you're at the end? But it was a map for them. And if you ask me to fork over thousands of dollars for a map with someone else’s name on it… “tell 'em they're dreaming.”

It may start off okay. You're just an average car taking an average road. They help you navigate a pothole or two. But wait a minute—you've got some off-roading coming up. So-and-so’s map has no off-roading on it. What the f#@k are you going to do? So-and-so tells you it's okay, just use the tools I gave you. “Bitch, no car jack or fuses are going to get me over this!”

See, they have a map, but their map doesn’t look like yours. They have no idea what you're looking at; they have never had to go off-roading before. But it's there, and you are left wondering what’s wrong with you because the tools don’t work. But they are simply just not the right ones for this leg of your journey. You may get to a stage where a big leap is required, but you are yet to integrate what’s needed to make the distance. They simply tell you to believe in yourself, that you’ve done the work, and you can make it. On their map, the work they gave you worked for them. But you see, they jumped a little fence on their bike, while you're jumping the Grand Canyon in a car. You're not going to make it.

Every day I hear of people coming out of facilitations, workshops, and group healings more messed up than when they walked in, because one size doesn't fit all! We ain't trying on ponchos!

WE ARE 8 BILLION DIFFERENT HUMANS, WITH 8 BILLION DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES!

I know it looks appetizing to get $50 from 20 people rather than sitting for an hour and really listening to one, but it’s causing energetic chaos in people's lives. It's leaving them in confusion as to why they aren't healing, or making them feel that something is wrong with them.

SO… you're really desperate. You have no f#@*ing clue what to do, where to go, or who can help… As I always say, you have to look within. We all have a blueprint, we all have some direction, and we all have a mission to create a purpose.

Oh, I forgot this one: we are looking for our mission—the purpose is what it creates!

So when someone says, “My purpose is to help you find your purpose,” please walk away. It’s New Age lingo at its finest.

But back to being desperate with no clue: start searching. Ask yourself questions. Look under the rubble of the things you don’t want to face. There is no one and no map that can help you bypass any of it. Trust me, the bypass loops you right back around to face it, and by that time, you have the universe up your ass shouting at you to move.

This is where the believers come in. The ones who know you have the power within. The ones who write books about how “you can heal yourself.” The ones who give you a blueprint but say, “Don’t follow it; this was mine. I just want to show you what’s possible and what to possibly watch out for.” They are the ones who walked the dark roads before you to put light posts along the way. They don’t know if you will go that way, but they thought someone may need the light. The people who found their mission and know it's not “THE” definitive answer, but a guiding light to the ones who need to hear it for that leg of their journey. The ones who stand at different points with parachutes, telling you that maybe you shouldn't jump before you take this. These are not the ones who will coach you; they are not the ones to call themselves gurus. Although you may want to follow them once you feel their caring presence, they are all simply markers on different legs of your journey. They are not here to hold your hand through the whole process.

So, my beautiful people, when you're trying to find a way out of the dark, seeking someone who has all the answers—I know it's hard to hear, but they don’t exist. Just people with large followings, and a lot of people jumping off that bridge with no parachute.

Instead… listen deep within. Follow the signs. It may lead you to a marker that has the parachute you need inside.

Maybe they compiled a whole bag of tools they scattered at different markers. But trust me when I say no one has the whole bag of tricks for you. Yes, some of us have the most extensive toolboxes from years and years—sometimes decades—of going down different roads. But only you will discover your own toolbox by living the journey, traveling your road, and finding them within.
